The Rehab Unit is a Fremont Fire Department program staffed by volunteers committed to delivering re-hydration and nourishment to firefighters at emergency incidents and major disasters.
This group of volunteers is called to support the Fremont Firefighters at structure fires, wildland fires, hazardous materials incidents, training exercises, and other major incidents. The Rehab Unit serves such items as Gatorade, water, hot coffee, snacks, meals, and more.
The unit is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and deployed via the Fremont Fire Department's communication center. To obtain further information on this program, please contact the Fremont Fire Department at 510-494-4200.
