The bidders’ conference is not mandatory. Potential bidders who attend the conference will be required to furnish and properly don their own protective gear (the use of a face mask at a minimum) as well as follow all social distancing requirements per the latest COVID-19 Alameda County Guidance.

BID 21-016 Police Department Generator Replacement Project

A MANDATORY PRE-
BID CONFERENCE: A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. at: Fremont Police Department, 2000 Stevenson Blvd for the purpose of acquainting all prospective bidders with the Contract Documents and the worksite. The bidders’ conference is mandatory. A bidder who fails to attend a mandatory conference may be disqualified from bidding. The City of Fremont Police Department is a secure facility. COVID temperature screening is required for entry, and visitors are required to check-in with a valid ID in order to be issued a visitor pass. To mitigate the amount of social interaction, each potential bidder will be limited to a maximum of two (2) representatives, and to mitigate the amount of time this would normally take prior to the conference, potential bidders will need to pre-register by notifying the City as to the names of their attendees by emailing asimoes@fremont.gov or calling (510) 494-4769 by 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2020.
