A community issues survey was conducted in 2019 by the firm of FM3 through a random telephone survey of Fremont voters assessing their opinions of issues facing the city. In recognition of Fremont’s diversity, the survey was conducted in multiple languages.
The survey found that traffic, housing costs and homelessness are a top concern. Residents broadly support navigation centers as a response to issues with homelessness. They rate emergency response times and traffic safety among their top priorities for City funding. However, they are not willing to support a ballot measure to finance investments in those priorities at this time.
