New Interpretive Signs Installed at Sabercat Historical Park

Sabercat Sign 1

New interpretive signs were recently installed at Sabercat Historical Park! Sabercat Historical Park is an extraordinary site that is rich with history including the discovery of fossils from the Irvingtonian period of geological time. These signs serve as a self-guided outdoor classroom by providing interpretive educational information such as the park’s paleontological and archeological importance, rich cultural history, flora and fauna, and natural resources.

Sabercat Historical Park is a linear greenway that features a 1.4 miles long paved trail that runs along Sabercat Creek. The park is accessible through several trailheads located on Pine Street, Quema Drive/Paseo Padre Parkway, and Via Orinda.
