27th Annual Festival of India

The City of Fremont and the Federation of Indo-Americans of Northern California (FIA) invite you to the 27th Annual Festival of India on Saturday, August 17 and Sunday August 18, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  The event, also known as the Festival of Globe, showcases India’s rich culture and heritage, including live performances, music, dance, and food. The two-day Mela will be held at the Fremont Hall of Justice Parking Lot at 39439 Paseo Padre Parkway in Downtown Fremont.

Please note that the parade portion of the event has been canceled. On Sunday, August 18 at 11:00 am, a candlelight vigil will take place in front of the main stage. The Grand Marshal, Vivek Oberoi, and other VIP guests will be on stage from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The City of Fremont and FIA stand strong with our community, and we look forward to a bigger and better parade returning in 2020 for the 28th Annual Festival of India.
