On July 18, a project information meeting to help residents, businesses, and other stakeholders learn more about the project and its potential safety and technology improvements. In August, the City showcased the project’s potential high priority concepts at the annual Fremont Festival of the Arts and answered questions about the project. View the presentation and other materials.

The Concept Report for the Fremont Boulevard Smart and Safe Corridor project has been released and is available online. The report includes a final list of high priority concepts for safety and technology improvements along Fremont Boulevard.

The City of Fremont has also released a Request for Information (RFI) to understand what software and hardware solutions exist in the market that can address one or more of the concepts described in the report. The responses provided may inform and guide the design process which is already underway.
