Purchasing Office
The City has a decentralized Purchasing Office consisting of a Purchasing Manager and two Purchasing Specialists. City departments have authority to purchase supplies and services within a dollar value of $25,000 or less.

Purchases exceeding this amount are done by the Purchasing staff. Vendors seeking to do business with the City must comply with the City’s Business Tax code, and fulfill insurance required by the bid documents.

Doing Business with the City of Fremont

Vendors who are interested in selling products and services to the City of Fremont can register with Bidsync to receive bid notifications. For more information, contact the Purchasing Division at (510) 494-4620.

Licensed Contractors interested in bidding on public works projects (PWC) can submit a registration form to be added to the bid notification list.
