Mission San Jose Bicentennial Park was completed in October 2008 and
highlights the history of the Mission San Jose area. The site is an
8,000-square-foot lot directly south of the Mission San Jose Museum Building.
The project design features a future 30-foot long sculpture that will depict
significant historical images of Mission San Jose. The sculpture will be
enhanced by a generous open plaza, benches, and lighting. The next stage is a
community-sponsored fund-raising campaign for the sculpture.
