Nature Learning Center

The Nature Learning Center offers educational and recreational opportunities for school groups, teachers, scouts, and the community. It also provides important habitat for pollinators and butterflies. 

Open Garden Days
Family-Friendly, All Ages Welcome

10 am to 3 pm on select Wednesdays & Saturdays

Join Rangers Sandy and Laurie for a tour of the pollinator garden at the Nature Learning Center for Open Garden Days from. This event is weather permitting, heavy rain cancels.

Walk around the garden and If you are lucky, you’ll see monarch butterflies and hummingbirds.  There's lots to learn about helping monarchs, native plants, beneficial bugs, and keeping our water clean.

School Field Trips

The Center is normally open for 2nd and 3rd-grade field trip programs. Due to Covid restrictions, programs are currently suspended.
