SparkPoint Centers provide a full range of FREE financial services to help individuals and families get out of debt and achieve long-term financial stability.  Conveniently located at the Fremont Family Resource Center, SparkPoint Fremont is part of United Way Bay Area's regional network of financial programs serving residents working toward financial self-sufficiency.  Clients receive assistance to improve their credit, increase their savings and assets as well as eliminate their debt.

**NEW** VIRTUAL SPARKPOINT INFORMATION SESSION

In this Virtual Information Session, you will learn about SparkPoint Fremont's FREE financial services including  financial coaching, financial education workshops, legal clinics and partner agencies.  If you wish to meet with a Financial Coach for one-on-one individual coaching, you must first attend this Information Session. Session is open to Alameda County residents aged 18 and over.  Occurs monthly on the 3rd Thursday from 6-7pm via Zoom.  Click here to register for an upcoming session.  Questions? Our SparkPoint trained coaches can help you get out of debt and meet your financial goals.

FINANCIAL EDUCATION WORKSHOPS

The SparkPoint Fremont Center and its partners provide a variety of workshops including, Money$mart Finances, Starting a Small Business, Credit 101, and How to Avoid Predatory Lending.

LEGAL CLINICS

SparkPoint Fremont partners with Bay Area Legal Aid to provide a Consumer Rights Legal Clinic free of charge.  Get free legal information and speak with an attorney about your consumer debt issues or if you are considering bankruptcy.  

VITA & ADDITIONAL SERVICES ON SITE

SparkPoint Fremont provides free Tax Preparation Services, called Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), CalFresh Assistance, Peer Lending Circles (small loans that build credit), and a Food Pantry.
