The 2016 Pavement Rehabilitation Project is a reconstruction project to improve the pavement condition of existing City roadways. The reconstruction work involves one or more treatments including base repairs to localized areas of severely distressed pavements and asphalt overlays to the entire width and length of select roadways. Speed lumps are included on select street segments.
The project includes a total of 22 street segments at the following locations:
The construction of this project is scheduled for the summer of 2016. Advance warning signs will be posted to alert motorists of scheduled pavement work. Lane closures are anticipated during construction.
This project is made possible by voter approved funding from Measure B, Measure BB, and the Vehicle Registration Fee (VRF). The Alameda County Transportation Commission allocates these funds to local agencies for use on various transportation improvement projects including this one.
Questions or comments about the project can be directed to the Engineering Division at (510) 494-4700 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
