51st Annual Textile Exhibit

One of Olive Hyde Art Gallery’s most popular exhibitions, the Annual Textile Exhibit features works of both traditional and contemporary artists who use textiles and fibers to create unique artwork and designs. 

Exhibition Dates: August 9 - September 21, 2019

Opening Reception: Friday, August 9, 2019
7:00pm to 9:00pm (hosted by Olive Hyde Art Guild)

Submission Deadline: Friday, June 21, 2019

Submit the following to olivehydecurator@fremont.gov:

• Artist bio, resume, and/or artist statement.
• List of images, including title, dimensions, year, and medium. Work must be from 2016 or later. Submissions may include sculpture, weaving, quilt making, basket making, papermaking, wearable art, bookmaking, and mixed media.
• Up to 5 images in JPEG format. (Image must be at least 300 dpi in order to be considered.)

Upon Acceptance:

• Accepted artists notified by July 12, 2019 via email.
• Submit the $30.00 entry fee on Art Delivery Day: July 28, 2019 from 12-2pm.
• All work must be ready to install. Any shipping fees are the responsibility of the Artist.
