The 4-acre park will be located at the corner of Dusterberry Way and Peralta Blvd. The building will be demolished and the concrete and asphalt removed to make way for a park that serves the residents in the neighborhood.
Dusterberry Neighborhood Park construction is slated to begin in the Fall of 2021 with a projected completion by late Summer of 2022.

Phase 1 - Demolition

Work involved the demolition of six (6) existing structures, environmental abatement and removal of in-ground automotive hoists, removal of underground utilities, and the removal of miscellaneous concrete and asphalt parking lot. The site is graded and stabilized for winter.
The Master Plan is the synthesis of community input provided from community comments received at meetings and through surveys. This plan has been approved by the Recreation Commission and City Council.
