The Fremont Senior Center is now the Age Well Center at Lake Elizabeth - offering online classes, services, trainings and curbside to go meals!
OUR BUILDING IS CURRENTLY CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE due to Covid-19 and the Shelter in Place Order issued by the Alameda County Public Health Department.
Frozen meals can be ordered ahead of time and picked up every Thursday. The cost is 5 meals for $20.00
Hot meals can be ordered ahead of time and picked up on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Thursdays. The cost of these meals are $7.00 per meal - sometimes higher based on high-end meals.
The meals will be curb-side pick-up (in front of the senior center) on Thursdays (12 pm - 1 pm) and will continue until the Senior Center reopens.
Payments: Credit card payment is HIGHLY preferred. We have learned during this time that this is the safest method of payment for everyone. You can make arrangements to have a credit card form emailed to you or a staff member can call you for the information.
Menu: The menu will be posted at the top of this page, posted on Facebook, published in the Age-Friendly Fremont Newsletter and emailed to everyone. If you would like to be on the email list, please email us at Agewellcenters@fremont.gov

To get more details and/or to have help placing an order, please email us at Agewellcenters@fremont.gov or call the Center at 510/790-6600 (message line) Include your name, phone number and the date you are ordering for. A staff member will email or call you back to let you know we have gotten your order and to send you the credit card form. If you wish to be called for credit card information, let us know in your email or your voice message.
Orders may be placed the Friday the week before and are open until Wednesday at 1pm. Orders can only be done one week at a time.
There will be no substitutions, however, Vegetarian meals can be requested when placing your order. Please make us aware of any important food allergies.
The meals will be curb-side pick-up (in front of the center) each Thursday (12 pm - 1 pm) and will continue until the Age Well Center at Lake Elizabeth reopens.
If you wish to stay in your house or don't have transportation available to pick up meals at the Center, we can bring the meals to you! Someone will drop off your meals at your home on Thursday, 12:30 - 2:30 pm. This is a free service, so let us know if you need your meals delivered.
In normal situations, daily lunches are served Monday - Friday at 12 noon. Information About Meals
Lake Side Cafe is located inside the Age Well Center at Lake Elizabeth (formerly The Fremont Senior Center) located at 40086 Paseo Padre Pkwy in Fremont CA. Lunch is served Monday - Friday at 12 noon. Dine in lunches are not served past 12:15 pm. Come and try out our popular meals, socialize with others and save money on a hearty meal!
Culinary trained Chef David Lee oversees a large group of volunteers that help out at the Lake Side Cafe and new applicants are always welcome!
- Lunch is $5 for paying members of the Senior Center and $7 for non-members. Special lunches (i.e. salmon, lamb shanks, etc.) are $6 for members and $8 for non-members.
- There is nowhere in town where you can get a tasty, high quality meal for that price with no tax or tip!
- If you are an Age Well Center Member, but cannot stay to eat here, you can take one (1) meal with you for an extra 50 cents. There are a limited number of "To-Go" meals ( members only) permitted daily. You can reserve a "To-Go" meal ahead of time by calling the Age Well Center at Lake Elizabeth's Office at 1/510/790-6600 by 11 am. Meals must be picked up between 12:30 pm and 3 pm daily. Friday meals must be picked up the same day or they will be thrown away and no refund will be issued.
