Fremont Storm Information

The City of Fremont is monitoring a powerful storm system that is expected to move into the area late tonight and last throughout the weekend.

City Staff has inspected problem flood areas and is clearing debris to minimize storm drain blockages. Public Works crews are also prepared to conduct regular patrols and inspections of known hotspots to identify potential flooding early and to focus resources accordingly to prevent larger problems. The City of Fremont will adjust staffing levels accordingly as the events unfold.

Visit www.Fremont.gov/FremontStormWatch for ways you can stay informed and be prepared, as well as for sandbag and contact information and resources.

General storm-related and safety messages will be communicated via the City’s website, www.Fremont.gov, and social media accounts including Nixle, Facebook, Twitter, Nextdoor, and Instagram (follow #FremontStorm). Find us on social media at www.Fremont.gov/SocialMedia.
