Draft Trails Strategy Plan Available for Public Comment

trail, trees, and lake

The Draft Trails Strategy Plan is now available for public comment. The purpose of Fremont’s Trails Strategy Plan is to provide an overarching framework for the development and implementation of trail projects in Fremont. The Plan is a resource document that expands on the City’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plans to deal with trail facilities that are for the exclusive use of bicyclists and pedestrians and can serve transportation and recreation purposes. The Plan’s development has been coordinated with the Parks and Recreation Master Plan, with input from the Recreation Commission and Mobility Commission. Attend the upcoming second public meeting on July 20 to receive feedback on the plan. For more information and to view the draft plan visit our website
