Please note that these interest lists are not application waitlists. They are "interest only" lists.
Income Limits for Affordable Housing
To qualify for affordable housing in Fremont, applicants must meet certain income limit requirements.
Please refer to the table below for the income limit requirements for affordable housing based on household size. Please use the table to assist you in determining if you are income eligible for affordable housing. A downloadable PDF of the table is also available.

Percent of 2024 Area Median Income (AMI) Figures
To qualify for affordable housing, households must not earn more than the annual gross income listed in the table below based on their household size. For example, to qualify for a very low income unit at 50% of the AMI, a 2-person household must not earn more than $62,300 a year before taxes to qualify.
*Due to adjustments by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the income percentages will not correspond with Area Median Income figures.
