Publicly Accessible EV Charging Stations
The City of Fremont supports a total of 17 dual-port Level 2 ChargePoint electric vehicle chargers in Downtown Fremont. These chargers are available for public use at a rate of $0.35/kWh of energy dispensed.
Chargers are at the following locations:
- (15) along Capitol Avenue between Fremont Boulevard and Paseo Padre.
- (1) at the City of Fremont Development Services Center (Liberty Street).
- (1) in Central Park in the parking lot behind the Boathouse (Sailway Drive).
Eight of these publicly accessible EV chargers were made possible through the Bay Area Charge Ahead Project – a consortium led by the Bay Area Climate Collaborative in collaboration with ChargePoint, ABM, and the EV Communities Alliance. The other nine publicly accessible chargers were made possible through funding from the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD).
