The Construction Section within the Engineering Division of the Public Works Department is responsible for the construction of new or improved public facilities. The section consists of Supervising Construction Coordinators, Construction Inspectors, Engineers, and Survey Operators. Construction Engineering works with contractors to ensure that Public Works projects and encroachment permit work are constructed per plans, specifications, and standards.

Becoming a Contractor with the City

Licensed Contractors interested in bidding on public works projects (PWC) can submit a Contractor Registration Form to be added to the bid notification list. Once the registration process is complete you will be added to the Arc Solutions contractor’s list and be notified of new City projects. To learn more, visit the Finance Department's Purchasing Division's Bids page.
