About the Program

This program is available for sidewalks damaged by trees. The program reimburses some of the costs to remove and replace sections of damaged sidewalks. Applications will be processed on a first come first served basis until funds for the fiscal year run out.

What it Covers

• Sidewalks next to City streets damaged by street trees
• 50% of the cost of sidewalk and curb and gutter replacement up to a maximum of $7,500 per property

What it Does Not Cover

• Tree Work (Find out about the 50-50 Program for Trees)
• Driveway repair
• Work in planting strips (landscape area between the sidewalk and curb)
• Sidewalk improvements required as part of a development permit
• Sidewalks damaged by trees on private property

Eligibility

• Funds are available to all property owners
• Sidewalks must be next to a public street
• There are other options for sidewalk repair to explore
