Mold Booklet

Mold BookletThe California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has produced a Mold Booklet entitled "Information on Dampness and Mold for Renters in California.” The booklet, in both English and Spanish versions, describes the health risks that may result from exposure to dampness and/or mold in buildings.

Starting January 1, 2022, this booklet must be provided by residential property owners to all prospective tenants, in accordance with the 2001 Toxic Mold Protection Act (HSC §26148).

More information is available on CDPH's Mold and Dampness webpage.
