The Safe Parking Host Site Program (SPHS) is designated as a safe, transitional space for individuals living in their vehicle. Participants are required to work with their social service providers to support their search for stable housing. A Vehicle Assistance Fund has been established to assist SPHS program participants with costs related to operating their vehicles safely and legally. Examples of costs covered by this fund include: obtaining or replacing their driver's license, vehicle registration and insurance costs, reasonable car repairs, and gas vouchers.
