For Sidewalks Damaged by Trees
For Sidewalks Damaged by Trees and Parkstrips Filled with Hardscape
This program allows Fremont to share with property owners the costs of replacing sections of sidewalks damaged by trees and of removing hardscape from public rights-of way. If this does not apply, see what other options are available for fixing sidewalks.
What it Covers
This program covers the replacement of public sidewalks, curbs, and gutters next to City streets that have been damaged by trees and also the removal of hardscape from public rights-of way (parkstrips).
Half of the cost of eligible repair and removal work is covered for reimbursement, up to a maximum of $7,500 total reimbursement per property.
Property owners must pay the full amount up front and will receive a payment check from the city after work and application processing has been completed.
Funds are available to all Fremont property owners
Important Notes
