What seems like a small earthquake can quickly turn out to be a big one!

  • If you are indoors, protect yourself from falling and shifting objects: Drop! Cover! and Hold On!
  • If you’re in bed, stay there.  Cover your head and neck with a pillow.
  • If you’re driving, pull over, stop, and set the parking brake.  Stay clear of overpasses and bridges, and overhead hazards such as power lines.
