The Fremont Fire Department provides fire extinguisher training and demonstrations to businesses in Fremont through the department's truck and engine companies.

Benefits to businesses and its employees:

• Education on basic fire and life safety
• Use of a fire extinguisher during an emergency (how and when to use it)
• Fire extinguisher hands-on training
• Instruction on when to call 9-1-1

Scheduling Demonstration:

To schedule a fire extinguisher demonstration, please email Fremont Fire Administration or call 510-494-4200 at least three weeks in advance of the date you wish to have your demonstration.

Please provide the following information:

• Name and address of the business
• Contact name and phone number
• Number of employees
• Training date and time 

Demonstration Requirements:

• Group must consist of 10-20 employees
• Business must provide one fire extinguisher per 2-3 people
• No demonstrations will be scheduled before 9 a.m. or between the hours of noon - 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.
