The Fire Department is responsible for providing the rapid delivery of fire, medical, rescue, and life safety emergency services within Fremont. Emergency services are delivered through 13 in-service fire companies from 11 strategically located fire stations in the City.

Goals

The primary goals are to:

• Reduce casualties and the loss of life
• Improve patient outcomes
• Reduce and prevent property loss and damage
• Effect successful extrication of trapped victims
• Protect the environment from the effects of a hazardous materials release

To prevent and minimize the loss of life and property threatened by the hazards of fire, medical, and rescue emergencies, hazardous materials incidents, and disaster situations within the community.

Keeping your home fire-safe is not a hard thing to do, but it does take some planning. For instance, maintaining proper clearance around your home will dramatically increase the chance of your house surviving a wildfire.

Visiting Fremont Fire Department Administration Office

In-person visit to Fremont Fire Administration Office for services such as file review, meeting with a Fire Inspector, or any other staff member is by appointment only.

To review Hazardous Materials records and/or Fire Inspection records, please submit a records request to the City of Fremont City Clerk's Office. Appointments for file review will be scheduled once Fremont Fire Dept. has received the records request and we have confirmed that we have responsive records for your request.

To schedule an appointment for all other matters, please complete and submit an  Appointment Request form. Same day appointment is  not available at this time.  Please DO NOT USE this form for requests related to a Fire Station or school visit. For the protection and well-being of all who are in our premises, we may require visitors to comply with safety protocols such as wearing a mask (even if fully vaccinated and boosted) and maintain physical distance.
