About the Project

The project scope will consist of the demolition and removal of all existing play equipment and existing rubber play surfacing at Booster Neighborhood Park. The play area will receive new play equipment including a new play structure with inclusive play elements, 5-12 play structure with tall slides and climbable features, tree-top spinner, bucket spinner, see-saw, and swing set with belt swings and chair seats. New pour-in-place synthetic safety surfacing will provide access to the new play equipment.

Timeline

The project went out for public bid in July 2024 and a construction contract was awarded during the City Council meeting held on September 3, 2024. Construction is slated to begin early fall 2024, and end in the early spring of 2025.
