Volunteer Position Requirements
- Possess a Valid Class C Drivers License with a clean record
- Be able to use technology for communication, navigation, alerting, etc.
- Be able to attend meetings monthly
- Participate in community and department events
- Respond to 'call-outs' on a frequent basis
- Be able to wear a uniform when on scene of calls
- Be able to follow directions while operating near emergency scenes
- Submit timesheets monthly
- Applicant must be 18+
- Must be in satisfactory medical condition
- No felony convictions
- No misdemeanor convictions within 3 years
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Be able to complete a thorough background investigation and fingerprinting clearance
- Currently live within 20 miles of Fremont
