Volunteer Position Requirements

• Possess a Valid Class C Drivers License with a clean record
• Be able to use technology for communication, navigation, alerting, etc.
• Be able to attend meetings monthly
• Participate in community and department events
• Respond to 'call-outs' on a frequent basis
• Be able to wear a uniform when on scene of calls
• Be able to follow directions while operating near emergency scenes
• Submit timesheets monthly
• Applicant must be 18+
• Must be in satisfactory medical condition
• No felony convictions
• No misdemeanor convictions within 3 years
• High School graduate or equivalent
• Be able to complete a thorough background investigation and fingerprinting clearance
• Currently live within 20 miles of Fremont
