Youth and Family Services offers Fremont youth and families individual and family counseling.  The Program works to strengthen family relationships and help individual family members develop methods to cope with stress/crisis.

Youth and Family Services provides clinic based services as well as in school sites.

Youth & Family Services (YFS) adheres to the following procedures and practices to ensure staff and client safety.  They may be revised as new direction and information in received.

Client Appointments:  All client in-person appointments held at the YFS clinic will be scheduled.  We will continue to use measures to prevent community spread of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), which includes health screening questions, face masks, physical distancing, and use of hand washing disinfectants.  If our clients or family members reports any symptoms of illness, we will encourage them to seek consultation with a medical provider.

Crisis Appointments:  Our crisis counselors are on duty Monday through Friday, and are available to respond to family relationship crisis referrals from Fremont or Newark Police Departments. 

Substance Use Disorder (SUD):  New Clients needing a telephone screening appointment can call 510-790-6940 for SUD services at YFS.
