BACS Wellness Center

If you are looking for drop-in services in Fremont, the BACS Wellness Center is located at 40963 Grimmer Blvd. in South Fremont and is supported by the City. The Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Services include:

• Connections to mental health services

Throughout the summer and fall months, the City monitors temperatures and air quality to determine activation of cooling and clean air quality centers. Located adjacent to Fremont City Hall, the Housing Navigation Center (HNC) is an innovative approach to help those experiencing homelessness find stable housing while providing a clean, safe, and calm environment.

If you are experiencing homelessness, the City offers the following services in partnership with Alameda County.

Access Point Services
The City participates in Alameda County’s Coordinated Entry System through the provision of access point services, which include housing problem solving, crisis assessments, and housing needs assessments.

• The Fremont Family Resource Center (FRC), located at 39155 Liberty St., Suite A110, serves as a Housing Resource Center for access point services. The Center hosts drop-in hours in the Millennium Room. This is an opportunity for those who need help with housing problem solving, shelter assessments and referrals, and housing assessments. Drop-in hours are Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, call the FRC at 510-574-2000.

The Mobile Evaluation Team (MET) is a partnership between the Fremont Police Department, the City's Human Services Department, and the Washington Hospital Healthcare System. MET is a field-based response team that provides comprehensive and compassionate services to Fremont’s most vulnerable populations, including community members with mental illness.
